I then obtained my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, graduating with honors, from Denver Seminary, an accredited seminary that offers a “bilingual” education in both secular psychology and biblical/ spiritual approaches. I am certified in the premarital tool, Prepare/Enrich, and am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors. I am also a member of the American Counseling Association.
Being vulnerable and brave enough to tell your story is tough. But getting you to the place where you can actually own your story, and maybe even write a new ending, is totally worth it. I value a holistic approach to therapy, through a biblical framework, by exploring all aspects of your life while respecting your unique reasons for receiving therapy. My goal is to be clinically descriptive & biblically prescriptive bringing hope & healing to the whole person.
I have met with clients ages 14- 90. My experience includes therapy and groups in outpatient settings, inpatient hospitals, college campuses, and consultant work in churches. I specialize in grief and loss, abuse recovery, depression, co-dependency, anxiety, women’s issues, relationship issues, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, infertility and miscarriage, marital problems, third-culture/ missionary issues, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I work with individuals and couples.
